Visions of a torch and of revival

From 1999, Dorothy Tsang, Ruth, Felix Chan and Dong Tiexin saw visions of revival and prophesied to David.

Prophecies

  1. 1999

    Dorothy Tsang (曾金芳)

In 1999, Dorothy Tsang (曾金芳) saw a vision and prophesied to David. She saw David holding a torch of fire and running on a runway. Afterward, more people joined the race.

“She saw David holding a torch of fire and running on a runway. More people then joined the race.”

An audio recording of this prophecy exists.

  2. 1999

    Ruth

In the same year, another prophet named Ruth saw a vision: David became an evangelist of revival, with flames coming from his hands.

  3. One year later

    A ministry born

One year later, Ruth again saw a vision: David was praying, flames surrounded him, and then David gave birth to a baby. This symbolized that after many years of prayer, a new ministry was being born.

  4. Years later

    Felix Chan (陳學偉)

Years later, David and Felix Chan (陳學偉) prayed in a park before Sunday service. Felix saw a vision: David held a torch and flipped forward, and the beam of fire traveled far and rolled into a huge fireball.

“The beam of fire traveled far and rolled into a big fireball.” This represented that David would ignite revival, and that revival would spread to many distant nations.

  5. North Point

    Dong Tiexin

Many years later, at 611 Bread of Life Church in North Point, prophetess Dong Tiexin prophesied to David. She said David was like a hunting dog searching for prey, and like a bee seeking honey. She pointed out that intercessors must first be broken; otherwise, when one falls, David would have to lift him up, and when another falls, David would have to lift him up again—creating difficulty. When the time comes, God will bring the intercessors to David. For now, draw close to God.

Later at the North Point Pier, Dong Tiexin met David again and prophesied: God will fulfill David’s heart’s desire and make him joyful. (In fact, months earlier David prayed, asking God to let him lead many souls to Christ so God would be pleased.)

Past prayer actions for revival

  1. 1974

    A cry for Hong Kong

After being filled with the Holy Spirit, David wept and cried out to God for revival in Hong Kong.

  2. 1985

    Months of fasting

David, his wife Grace, and four other Christians fasted and prayed for months for revival in the church and in Hong Kong.

  3. Around 2002

    Tsim Sha Tsui Pier

David and Silvestor Ho (何兆輝) woke up daily at around 5 a.m. and prayed for months at the Tsim Sha Tsui Pier, interceding for revival in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, and India, following the Prayer Handbook published in Taiwan. David led 46 taxi drivers to accept Christ.

  4. 2005–2026

    Calvary Temple, India

Calvary Temple India was founded in 2005 and grew to 300,000–400,000 people by 2026. India is experiencing revival. Glory be to God.

Experience of Continual Focus On Intensive Prayer

1999 — Paul Tsoi (蔡仁順)

David fasted and prayed for Paul Tsoi (蔡仁順), who suffered severe nasal blockage and loss of smell. David fasted during lunch Monday to Friday, praying for one focused hour daily for Paul’s healing. Paul was later healed and his sense of smell fully restored. He became a church minister and later moved overseas.

Pastor David Yonggi Cho and his son

The late Pastor David Yonggi Cho of South Korea’s largest church once faced his son’s skin disease, which specialists could not cure. He prayed intermittently for a year, yet his son was not healed. Pastor Cho asked God why. The Holy Spirit told him: “If you do not pray, God will not work.” He then prayed six hours, and faith and assurance of healing came upon him. He turned prayer into praise. Later, God healed his son.

“David exercised continual focus on intensive prayer, CFIP.”
